Arbitrage
Arbitrage Betting Software
When two bookmakers disagree on a price, there is a profit sitting between them. BookieCharity finds those gaps across 100+ bookmakers in real time and works out exactly what to stake on each side.

The short version
What is arbitrage betting?
Bookmakers disagree. When two of them price the same market far enough apart, you can back every outcome at different bookmakers and collect a guaranteed profit, no matter the result. That gap is an arb.
To spot an arb, turn each price into an implied probability by dividing 1 by the odds, then add them up. If the total comes to less than 100%, backing both outcomes locks in a profit.
Arbs are extremely rare, and finding one manually is near impossible. You are looking for disagreement across more than 100 bookmakers and thousands of markets, and the gaps close very quickly. That is what the software is for.
Worked example
The same return, whoever wins
In the AFL match between Adelaide and Gold Coast, Sportsbet is offering 2.15 on Izak Rankine to get over 22.5 disposals while bet365 is offering 2.15 on the under line.
Rankine gets 23 or more disposals
Sportsbet pays $215, the bet365 leg loses
Rankine gets 22 or fewer disposals
bet365 pays $215, the Sportsbet leg loses
Overall, $200 is outlaid, and no matter what happens, $215 is returned. That is $15 of profit settled before the first bounce.
Expanding the row opens the calculator, where you can set your total stake, adjust either price if it moves, and find direct links to both bookmakers.

How it works
Finding disagreement, 24/7
Four steps run continuously in the background. Arbs usually close in minutes, so by the time one reaches your screen the maths is already done.
Scan every bookmaker
Prices for every outcome of every market are pulled from more than 100 bookmakers at once, continuously.
Convert to probability
Each price becomes an implied probability, one divided by the odds, so prices from different bookmakers can be compared directly.
Find totals under 100%
The implied probabilities for every outcome are added. Anything short of 100% means a mistake has been made by one or more bookmakers.
Size the stakes and alert
The split across both bookmakers is calculated based on your set filters and the opportunity is sent to the website and Discord immediately.
Inside the tool
Both sides of the bet, side by side
Every arb arrives as a single row or card showing both legs, what to stake on each and your exact return. Speed is essential, so this makes it a breeze.
What each column tells you
- Sport
- The league the opportunity belongs to
- Match
- Teams or players, with the start time in your local timezone
- Market
- The betting market type
- Outcomes
- Both sides of the arb, each with its bookmaker, odds and a direct link
- Stakes
- What to put on each side, sized from your total stake
- Profit%
- What you keep once both bets are on
- Info
- The calculator: adjust either price and see the profit update
- Track
- Sends both legs to your tracker, pre-filled
Placing an arb takes seconds
- 1Click each bookmaker’s logo to open both match pages
- 2Fill out both bet slips with the allocated stakes, but confirm neither yet
- 3Check the odds still match the software, then place both back to back
- 4Hit the + icon to log both legs in your tracker
If one price drops before you have placed either bet, open the calculator in the expanded row and enter the new odds. If the profit is still positive, take it. If not, move on.
Filters
Only see the arbs you can actually place
Six filters decide what reaches your screen. Save a set as your default and it loads automatically every time you open the tool.
Sport
Choose which sports appear. We recommend leaving them all on.
Bookmakers
Narrow it to the bookmakers you actually hold accounts with. An arb is no use if you can only place one side of it.
Odds
Set the odds range that you prefer.
Profit%
Any positive number will leave you with a profit, though we suggest a 3% minimum so the bet is worth the effort. Very high % arbs are worth avoiding because they can draw attention to your accounts.
Starts in
Limit how far ahead events can be. Close to the jump is best, ideally within a few hours.
Stakes
Set the total stake to split across both bookmakers and pick a rounding option. Rounding to $5 keeps you from looking suspicious.
WHICH ONE
Arbitrage or positive EV?
Arbitrage has zero variance. Every arb locks in a profit whatever the result, so you know what you are making before the game starts.
Over the long run, positive EV betting makes more money. An arb almost always involves hedging with a slightly negative EV bet, which gives away part of the edge, and placing two bets takes longer than placing one.
So it comes down to your preference. If you can handle the downswings of EV betting, are time poor, and are looking for a long term strategy, EV is the way to go. If you cannot handle the variance, have some extra time on your hands and want more consistent short term results, arbitrage is the better fit.
FAQ
Arbitrage betting FAQ
What is arbitrage betting?
Arbitrage betting involves backing every outcome of an event at different bookmakers, at prices that guarantee you a profit, no matter the outcome. It works because bookmakers do not always agree on a price, which leaves a gap we can exploit.
Is arbitrage betting legal in Australia?
Yes. You are placing ordinary bets at advertised prices with licensed bookmakers. Nothing about it breaks any law.
Though bookmakers do not like it. They reserve the right to restrict or close accounts of customers who consistently take value.
Is it really risk free?
The maths is certain. Once both bets are on at the prices shown, the profit is locked in and the result no longer matters.
There are some minor risks involved. A price can move while you are placing the second bet, leaving you with one side of the arb unhedged. A bookmaker can also void a market, along with a few other obscure situations that rarely come up.
Will bookmakers limit my account?
Eventually, yes. Any bookmaker will restrict a customer who keeps taking value.
However, by following our account sustainability techniques, you can easily stay under the radar and extract a large amount of profit before the books catch on.
